On 15th May 2026, the Managing Director of Stockpoint Kenya Limited participated in the SIYB (Start and Improve Your Business) Workshop on Entrepreneurship Programme held at Rift Valley Institute of Business Studies. The workshop brought together aspiring entrepreneurs, business professionals, trainers, and stakeholders committed to promoting entrepreneurship and enterprise development.
Event - Move From Concept To Management
The event also marked the successful completion of a one-month Training of Trainers (ToT) programme under the SIYB methodology. During the programme, participants were equipped and certified to deliver the SIYB training modules, namely Generate Your Business Idea (GYB), Start Your Business (SYB), Improve Your Business (IYB), and Expand Your Business (EYB). The completion of the programme represented a significant milestone in strengthening the capacity of entrepreneurship trainers to effectively support business start-ups, growth, and sustainability.
The workshop focused on equipping participants with practical knowledge and skills required to start, manage, and grow sustainable businesses. Key areas covered included opportunity identification, business planning, financial management, marketing strategies, customer service, business formalization, and business growth planning.
