Bio:

Betty Adhiambo Opiyo, MBA (Finance), BCom, CPA(K), HND is a seasoned finance, accounting, and compliance professional with extensive experience in financial management, auditing, institutional leadership, and corporate governance. She serves as the Finance, Accounting & Compliance Lead at Stockpoint Kenya Limited, where she oversees financial strategy, accounting operations, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting to support the organization's sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Betty holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K), and also holds a Higher National Diploma (HND). Her strong academic and professional background has equipped her with expertise in financial planning, budgeting, auditing, risk management, taxation, and corporate compliance.

Before joining Stockpoint Kenya Limited, Betty served as the Principal of the African Institute of Research and Development Studies (AIRADS), Kisumu Campus, where she provided strategic leadership, strengthened institutional governance, enhanced financial accountability, and promoted academic excellence.

As an accomplished auditor and financial expert, Betty is committed to promoting transparency, accountability, and sound financial management practices.
